Network infrastructure
The quiet backbone behind reliable technology.
Network Design & Deployment
We install and commission network infrastructure including routers, switches and wireless access points, with configuration and ongoing management carried out on-site or remotely.
Where an existing network is already in place, we can assess the infrastructure, identify limitations and upgrade only what is required. This includes network configuration.
WiFi designed around your property
Every property is different. Thick walls, multiple floors, extensions and the position of your existing router can all affect the strength and reliability of your WiFi.
We assess where coverage is needed, how the property is used and which devices rely on the connection. We can then improve your existing system or install a complete solution using correctly positioned wireless access points and wired connections.
The result is consistent coverage in the places where you actually need it.
How we can help
Our network services include:
- Wired and wireless network design
- Managed switching and routing
- VLAN design and network segmentation
- SD-WAN and multi-site connectivity
- Business and residential Wi-Fi
- Wireless access point deployment and optimisation
- Point to point and point to multipoint wireless links
- Network upgrades, expansion and migration
- Fault finding and performance diagnostics
- Guest, staff and IoT network separation
- Redundancy and failover
Where your existing equipment remains suitable, we aim to retain it and focus your investment on the areas that will make a genuine difference.
For business
We support businesses that need reliable network expertise without maintaining a dedicated in house network team.
From office and multi site environments to upgrades, fault finding and expansion, we provide the design, configuration and technical support required to keep business networks stable, secure and properly documented.
We can take responsibility for the network layer directly, or work alongside internal IT teams, MSPs, electrical contractors and project managers where additional network engineering resource is required.
For home
Residential Networks
A reliable home network should make connected technology feel effortless, wherever you use it.
We design and upgrade residential networks to provide consistent Wi-Fi and wired connectivity throughout the property, including areas that are often difficult to cover such as extensions, basements, lofts, garden rooms, home offices and gyms.
For some homes, that may simply mean improving access point placement. For others, it may involve new cabling, managed switching, additional access points or dedicated links between buildings.
The result is a network that can comfortably support home working, streaming, network storage, smart technology and everyday devices without relying on boosters or hoping the signal reaches the next room.
Outbuildings & Remote Connectivity
We connect separate buildings and remote areas back to the main network using fibre, structured cabling or dedicated wireless links.
Point-to-point and point-to-multipoint systems can provide reliable connectivity to locations such as barns, workshops, gates, offices and other detached buildings without the need for extensive trenching or new fixed-line services.
Where required, Starlink and mobile connectivity can also be integrated as primary or backup connections for remote sites.
FAQs
Why is my WiFi slow even though my internet speed is good?
Slow WiFi is often caused by one router having to send signal throughout your home, it could be interference, outdated equipment or an extender relaying a poor signal. We can assess your network and recommend improvements to ensure reliable performance throughout your property.
Can you provide internet to a detached garage, garden office or outbuilding?
Yes. We can extend connectivity to outbuildings using network cabling, fibre optic cabling or wireless building to building links. The most suitable solution depends on distance, terrain and the required performance.
Do you only work on new installations?
No. We regularly troubleshoot and improve existing networks, WiFi systems and connectivity issues. Whether you’re experiencing intermittent dropouts, poor coverage or network faults, we can diagnose the problem and recommend a solution.
